ADD WATER AND GET A NEW RECIPE – SAGE KARAM SCORES HIS FIRST STAR MAZDA
STREET CIRCUIT WIN IN SUNDAY'S RAINY RACE 2 AT THE 43rd ANNUAL GP3R

Trois-Rivières, Quebec / August 5, 2012 – Sunday's Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear Race 2 at the 43rd annual GP3R looked for all the world like another Hawksworth runaway – start from the pole, build up a 10-second lead by the mid-point of the race… but then, for the second weekend in a row, the rain came mid-way into the race and changed everything. As a result, scoring his first Star Mazda street circuit win, and his second win of the season, was Sage Karam in the #88 Andretti Autosport / Comfort Revolution Mazda. Following him across the finish line was Gabby Chaves in the #19 JDC Motorsports / CLARO / Marca Colombia / Tecpro Mazda and Alex Ardoin in the #51 Team GDT Mazda.

THE HAWK IS A LONELY HUNTER – ENGLISH RACER JACK HAWKSWORTH SCORES HIS SEVENTH WIN FROM HIS EIGHTH POLE IN SATURDAY'S STAR MAZDA RACE 1 AT THE 43rd ANNUAL GP3R

Trois-Rivières, Quebec / August 4, 2012 – Well, if you're going to start from the pole, never put a wheel wrong and pull out a 24.394-second lead over your nearest competitor by the time the checkered flag waves, then you're going to have a lonely race. But, on a track that demands a surgeon's precision, it was also a magnificent race as English rising star Jack Hawksworth dissected the competition to score his seventh win from his eighth pole driving the #82 Team Pelfrey / TORGOEN Swiss Watches / EXA Networks Mazda. And, given that he turned the fastest lap of the race – for the 9th time this season – he will start from the pole -- for the 8th time this season – in tomorrow's Race 2.

A RECORD-BREAKING FIRST PRACTICE AS JACK HAWKSWORTH CONTINUES HIS STREAK OF QUICK TIMES IN THE FIRST STAR MAZDA ON-TRACK SESSION FOR THIS WEEKEND'S 43rd ANNUAL GP3R

Trois-Rivières, Quebec / August 3, 2012 – English racer, who has proven the be the 'man to beat' in both practice and the race so far this season, got another great start to this weekend's Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear race at the 43rd annual GP3R at Trois-Rivieres. He – unofficially, since lap records can only be set in qualifying or the race – trounced the Star Mazda lap record of 1:01.341 set in 2009 by Rusty Mitchell with a lap of 1:00.991 in his #82 Team Pelfrey / TORGOEN Swiss Watches / EXA Networks Mazda.

PAST AND FUTURE SET FOR A BATTLE ROYAL IN THIS WEEKEND'S STAR MAZDA
CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLE-HEADER AT THE 43rd ANNUAL GP3R AT TROIS-RIVIÈRES

Trois-Rivières, Quebec / July 29, 2012 – While the nature of the narrow, highly-technical, heavily-crowned street circuit at Trois-Rivières guarantees that any race will be a 'tempest in a teapot,' this weekend's Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear double-header promises to be particularly intense with familiar winner from last year locked in a battle royal with a quick – and stunningly successful – newcomer.

To set the stage-- last year, French racer Tristan Vautier started from the pole in Race 1 and scored his second victory of the season. He went on to win the championship and is again racing at Trois-Rivières, this year in Indy Lights with scholarship funding from the Mazda Road to Indy. In Race 2, with the starting grid determined by each car's quickest lap in Race 1, Vautier again started on the pole, but a rare miscue allowed the Team Pelfrey duo of Connor De Phillippi and Nick Andries to slip by and finish 1-2.
