JACK Hawksworth TOPS MAZDA ROAD TO INDY TEST AT INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY Indianapolis, Indiana (October 29, 2011). Making his first appearance in a formula car in the United States Jack Hawksworth, from Bradford, United Kingdom, made quite an impression, setting the fastest Star Mazda lap of the weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Chris Griffis Memorial Mazda Road to Indy open test. Climbing into the car for the first time on Friday morning, Hawksworth posted a lap of 1:25.431 in the #11 Team Pelfrey Pro Formula Mazda around the 2.514-mile road circuit in the final practice session Saturday to take top honors. |
