CONOR DALY WINS FROM THE POLE IN ROUND 3 OF THE 2010 STAR MAZDA CHAMPIONSHIP AT MAZDA RACEWAY Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca /Sunday, May 23 – Indianapolis native Conor Daly converted his pole position start to a victory in today's Round 3 of the 2010 Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. This is Daly's second win in a row from the pole this season driving the #22 Juncos Racing / INDECK / The College Network / Merchant Services Ltd. / Tom Lange Co. Mazda; he dominated Round 2 at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg and heads into Round 4 next weekend at O'Reilly Raceway Park and the 125-lap 'Night Before the 500' with both team momentum and a solid lead in the championship points battle.

CHAMPIONSHIP LEADER CONOR DALY ON POLE FOR ROUND THREE OF THE Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca /Saturday, May 22 – Star Mazda Championship points leader American Conor Daly will start from the pole for tomorrow's Round 3 of the 2010 Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Having set the quick time in both days of pre‐race practice and testing, Daly, the son of F1/IndyCar racing legend Derek Daly, was the only driver to turn a lap in the 20s with a 1:20.875 in his #22 Juncos Racing / INDECK / The College Network / Merchant Services Ltd. / Tom Lange Co. Mazda. Daly won Round 2, the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg from the pole, and in this event last year, battled his way up from 15th on the grid to finish 4th.

DALY QUICKEST AGAIN IN STAR MAZDA FRIDAY P1 – Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca / Friday, May 21 – Star Mazda Championship points leader American Conor Daly again topped the time sheets in the first practice session Friday morning. His lap of 1:21.271 in the #22 Juncos Racing / INDECK / The College Network / Merchant Services Ltd. / Tom Lange Co. Mazda was about a tenth slower than yesterday's fast time, but three drivers are in the '21' club in this morning's session, including Scandinavian driver Anders 'The Viking' Krohn with a 1:21.365 in the #47 Andersen Racing / Norse Cutting & Abandonment / Trallfa / Colosseum Mazda and Frenchman Tristan Vautier at a 1:21.627 in his #38 Andersen Racing / Moulin TP / Cecibon / Circuit du Laquais Mazda. Vautier led the session early, then Krohn held the top spot until Daly set the quick time of the session on the final lap before the checkered flag.

CONOR DALY QUICKEST IN DAY 1 OF STAR MAZDA CHAMPIONSHIP Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, CA – As has become his habit of late, Indianapolis racer Conor Daly set the fastest time during two 40‐minute practice sessions as the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear geared up for Round Three of the 2010 season this weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Turning a lap of 1:21.395 in his #22 Juncos Racing / INDECK / The College Network / Merchant Services Ltd. / Tom Lange Co. Mazda, Daly completed something of a hat trick over the past few weeks. Not only did he win Round Two in the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, meaning he comes to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this weekend as the championship points leader, but he also set the quickest time in two days of testing at O'Reilly Raceway Park in preparation for next weekend's Round Four, the 'Night Before the 500." And in the middle of it all, he managed to graduate from Heritage Christian High School on May 14.
