Driver Quotes

Tim Jennings, #70 Jennings Motorpsorts  - “We were running on bad tires yesterday in the track testing day but we think we have a good handle on the car now.  The headwind down the backstraight slowed everyone down a bit and I really think we’ll be chasing weather with our early qualifying time and afternoon race.  We’re just looking to fine tune the car now.”

Scott Speed, #11 Valley Motor Center – “The track was definitely slower today with the headwind, we were losing 3-4 miles per hour down the backstraight.  I was able to get some clean laps early in the session but only got one hot lap after we made a change that felt pretty good.  With some clean laps we’ll be significantly faster.”

Guy Cosmo, #45 Racers Edge Motorsports – “It felt like there was a 15 mph headwind coming down the backstraight buffeting my helmet, and the track definitely seemed slower but I think we’re in good shape to fight right now.”
