Pikes Peak Replaces Laguna Seca Champ Car Event

We were informed late Friday, April 26th, that the FM race with CART was cancelled due to "lack of paddock space". We have therefore replaced that event with a race on the one mile oval at Pikes Peak, one week after the original date. The new event will be with the IRL and will run on Sunday, June 16, 2002.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

We have had some great races at Pikes Peak in the past and have always enjoyed an excellent working relationship with the track and with the IRL. We are looking forward to having one of our oval races on SPEED channel. Details will be published on our web site and in the regular bulletins.
